Summary- a library apprentice, a sorcerer prince, and an unbreakable magic bond...

The Solaris Empite is one conquest away from uniting the continent, and the rare elemental magic sleeping in seventeen-year-old library apprentice Vhalla Yarl could shift the tides of war.

Vhalla has always been taught to fear the Tower of Sorcerers, a mysterious magic society, and has been happy in her quiet world of books. But after she unknowingly saves the life of one of the most powerful sorcerers of them all--the Crown Prince Aldrik--she finds herself enticed into his world. Now she must decide . . . more.

I LOVED THIS! I need Fire Falling! I have so much to say about this novel. AHHH! I don't know where to start it was amazing! I'm in love.

The Characters were amazing, the setting, the plot, the cover, the author, the book, Aldrik...

I will be doing TWO different parts to this. The first part will be a normal review the second part will be full of spoilers so if you don't want me spoiling anything for you. DO NOT READ THE SECOND PART (I will warn you before I start the spoiling *winks* but it's not much spoiling . . . but still, you've been warned)

Vhalla Yarl- Okay, she had me at Library Apprentice <3 but besides that, Vhalla was an amazing character. I loved her. I loved so many things about her but what I loved most was how she read so many books and was really smart, but she still knew she had so much more to learn about a lot *coughs* Sorcery *coughs*. But yes, this book was so amazing because the main character "Vhalla" was so so so so so awesome and unique, not many characters you read about like books and reading. I bet there are tons of novels out there like that, but I personally haven't read any. So this is my first where the MC loves reading and it made me really happy that she liked reading . . . because I do.

Prince Aldrik- Needn't I say more? (I hope that's how you say that phrase . . . it sounds wrong when I say it out loud . . . hehe) but not only was he a prince, he was a Sorcerer, most powerful one apparently, and he was just awesome, maybe a smidge more than Vhalla? no their equal. That's why they'd be CUTE together!
Aldrik was one of those characters you wanted to hate in the beginning but as time goes on you know you can't hate him. So yes, Aldrik is my favorite I love Aldrik and Vhalla and they are perfect together!

Prince Baldair- I don't have much to say about him, as he was only in it a little, but still a main character in my opinion. I would definetly put Baldair above Sareem...Sareem to me was like Spear from Rook and I just couldn't handle it because even though I (Almost) despised Spear . . . save that for the spoilers.
Anyways! Baldair, he kind of reminded me of Morpheus . . . and Morpheus is above awesome. He's like . . . Mad (get it? get it? I crack myself up).

The Setting- I LOVE THE SETTING. I love the library, I love the sorcerers tower, I love the castle, the dungeon-y area, the whole thing. It was amazing. (I've said amazing so much in this post, but amazing isn't even close. I can't find a word to explain it!) It is mind-blowing. Awesome, Loving? Beautiful! So much to say!!

The plot- The plot to this story is just MIND BLOWING! I love it, it's beautiful and the whole entire time you are on the edge of your seat wondering what's coming next! I love the idea of the sorcerers and the magic.

I can not wait to read FIRE FALLING. I know it's going to be so amazing. I am happy I read this, and that Library Luv got me wanting to read it, so thank you travel buddy :)

○Spoilers ahead○

Okay, so first off, Sareem...I didn't like him...he reminded me to much of Spear from rook as I mentioned above. But when he died I did get really sad, because it was Vhalla's friend. and it was just so sad! but I did hate Sareem in a way, he was kind of obsessive? in a way I guess, and I did NOT like that.

Baldair, was different. Aldrik is definitely above him to me, but he does have the Morpheus type of attitude. (I always judge characters to Morpheus . . . )
there probably isn't many spoilers in this extra part but I don't care.

VHALLA IS A WINDWALKER! THE FIRST ONE IN A LONG TIME. I thought that was AWESOME. I love Vhalla she is smart, strong, and just pure awesomeness. Just think how she'll be in Fire Falling . . .
she'll know how to control her powers more, and she'll be fighting. *stares in awe*

THANK YOU ELISE KOVA FOR WRITING SUCH AN AMAZING BOOK!!!!!!!! <3
