Review-

Wow. I can't. It's amazing.

As I was reading Fire Falling, I read it at night and I didn't have ANYTHING to write my thoughts down on. SO, I used paper. And It is seriously a mess of words.

Before I get into-into the review I just want to add that Fire Falling was so amazing, so much action and character development. And . . . sadness.
There was also some swoony scenes
Okay, many swoon worthy scenes but not all are how they should end . . . I mean, come on. Things didn't get GOOD until things went BAD.
But Swoon worthy all the same.

In book one, everyone was like "OH MY GOSH! IT's AMAZING, EVERYTHING'S AMAzING!" but book two . . . if you have HIGH expectations for Fire Falling, I promise they will meet or pass your expectations. I was just like *poof* mind blown.
The characters, the people, the prince *wink*, Vhalla, and then still with the BOND! I'm still like, woah they're bonded.

Characters:  I have so many favorite people in Fire Falling, but the winner is VHALLA YARL! she is such a strong character, even when she's completely broken and in terrible sadness . . . oh wait, that was more me lol.
But Vhalla is still a strong character, she went through so much and became such a strong character throughout book 2. The people around her DID help make her who she is, and they are also amazing characters that I'll mention soon. But, even though she BECAME a strong female character, closer to the beginning she depended on a certain someone the most. With her night terrors.
Then there is the other amazing female character, Larel Neiress. I LOVED Larel! seriously, LOVED.
I wish she had a bigger role, like . . . you know what I'm talking about if you read it.
Then my luv, Aldrik!
I was peeved with him for a good 15 pages. I was on the verge of the book-boyfriend-break-up *to the freezer for ice cream*!
But, I loved him again. You can't stay mad at him FOREVER! <3 unless he does something unforgivable like cheats on her or . . . something worse that causes danger to the both of us.
I mean them . . . . yeah, them.
Then! my last last favorite character, Fritz. Fritz is probably the most energetic of all characters. IN A GOOD WAY! I want a Fritz, he was an awesome friend and an awesome person to read about I hope there is a lot more of him in book 2!
I can't forget Baldair ;) he was a really good, funny character to read. I loved all his witty comments or just his comments in general. Not as much as I liked Aldrik's though *wink wink*
But there are also the few character's I REALLY dislike, instead of going into big descriptions of them I'm just going to name them.
Edmund. Someone please push this guy off a cliff. I mean, if  you don't have a thing against this guy you're crazy because he SUCKS!
King Solaris, Aldrik's and Baldair's PAPA. At first I was thinking he MIGHT be more of a good guy than bad, But this kind is full of himself. He is a jerk, and might as well push him off a cliff too. Aldrik will be king sooner. Then he can marry WHOEVER he wants. and we'll have a big wedding.
They'll have a big wedding . . . sorry, I uh, typed the wrong words tehe.

no the characters are out of the way, let's get to business. The world and the places.

SETTING:  okay, let's start off in the tower. The tower was mentioned in the first book. But my review for AA wasn't all that great . . . and I don't think I mentioned it. So, the tower. Where all the powerful peeps go. And in the tower there are FOUR different powers, Fire Bearers, Water Runners, Ground Breakers, and the rarest of them all because there is only one . . . the WIND WALKERS! *round of applause*
anyways, the tower was probably one of my favorite places because in book one I remember the library inside it. I wanna go.
But for book 2, my FAVORITE place was Aldrik's bed.
sorry, did I say bed? I meant room. that came out wrong. That's happened a lot . . . tongue tied XD

Also, the little village-y place they stop at. WOW, I remember all these character's names like Ophain, but not the name of the village thing? ugh! It's like a wall village. . .? you know what I'm talking about. I really liked that, not only because Vhalla was awesome on the way in.

Okay, and now below I will have a list thing of all my thoughts that I had about half way done with the book. They weren't on Goodreads because I wrote them all down on a piece of paper, but here they are. AND beware, there are spoilers ahead so if you don't want to read spoilers skip to the ABOUT THE AUTHOR section at the bottom! thank you, Luv's!

*fangirls*
they are so adorable in the morning

*HEART EYES*
can they get ANY cute?
haha nope.

"Yes my parrot"
Vhalla does repeat almost everything Aldrik says.

Baldair definitely isn't buying what Aldrik's sellin'. I ain't either.

LOL, Fritz squeaked. Can I have a Fritz? and an Aldrik . . . ?

Aldrik! NO! Kiss the girl! no family reunions, who are you?

HOLY HOLY HOLY Victory wants the crystals and Vhalla's the only one who can get it because she's a wind walker and now Ophain . . . DONT DO IT VHALLA! I don't trust Victor!
Sorry Vic

Chapter 20: WOOT WOOT! wait . . . 3?
tsk tsk tsk lol

no no no no no no no no no no no no NOT LAREL! Please be okay, please be okay! OH NO! LAREL! I will kill them if Larel dies! I will make them suffer! LARELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

*sobs*

NOOOOOOOOOOO, I feel your pain Vhalla

:(

I love Aldrik omg

"Aldrik, you-I-they..."
"Let them say something," Aldrik ground out through a clenched jaw. "Let one person say something and give me a reason to burn it all."

*sniffles* she really is gone. Larel & Vhalla were so close, and now . . . she's gone!
WHY DO THIS TO ME?! You make me love this character then you just . . . just kill her?
*cries*
*between sobs* why couldn't it be Daniel? WHY??????!!!!!!!!!!!
*stuffs face with ice cream*
R. I. P. Larel
forever loved

why couldn't it be me? LET ME TAKE HER PLACE!

I understand her new identity is to protect her, but it makes me sad that it is basically Larel. Larel was my girl, my book bestie and I am still grieving! I just don't like that it's pretty much Larel she's pretending to be,
Serien Larel.

I loved how much Vhalla depended on Larel, Larel kept her night terrors away, Larel comforted her, Larel assured Vhalla that Aldrik was in love with her when Vhalla didn't know.
Larel was so much but also so little and I hated that!

Larel Neiress

Oh man, this Serien stuff is confusing.

DANIEL KNOWS! "Vhalla look at me"
it would SUCK if he was a traitor and tried to kill Vhalla. Vhalla is a better name for her instead of Serien.

Prepare for war

"ALDRIK!" ahhhhhh yay! he's back! These last 10 pages without him have made me miss him <3

"My Vhalla, My Lady, My Love"
swooniest swoon moment. *swoons*

the chink in his armor

Consider me you sword, Vhalla Yarl
then consider me your wind

UGH! Do I hate Aldrik's and Baldair's father! Did you NOT see what Aldrik did to the man that tried to hurt Vhalla?
I bet Aldrik would kill anyone who laid as much as a finger on her! So, Mister Solaris, protect my Vhalla Yarl WITH YOUR LIFE! or so help me!
Unfortunately for them, one couldn't break what was already broken.

So Baldair isn't THAT much of a jerk . . . right?

NOOOOO NOT him too!

I'm crying! Oh. My. God. I have ONLY four main favorites and now all of them are either unknown, or dead. . . thank you Elise for destroying my emotions and making me fall for these characters.
