The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (Full Series review)

The Hunger Games-

Rating Score: 10/10

When 16-year-old Katniss's young sister, prim, is selected as District 12's female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart Peeta, are pitted against bigger, stronger representatives, some of whom have trained for this their whole life . . . more.

I remember when the movie first came out, and I of course wanted to see it, because everyone was saying it was so amazing! and I told myself "I will never read the books, books are so stupid and boring" . . . and look where I am now, with the series finished. I actually finished the series through December of 2014 - February of 2015. And I watched the movie before reading the book (Only for The Hunger Games, though. I read Catching Fire, and Mockingjay before I watched the movies).
The First novel was by far the best.
Suzanne Collins writing was amazing, and she described everything so perfectly.
It was an amazing read! <3

Catching Fire-

Rating Score- 9.5/10

Against all odds, Katniss has won the Hunger Games. She and fellow district 12 tribute Peeta Mellark are miraculously still alive. Katniss should be relieved, happy even. After all, she has returned to her family and her longtime friend, Gale. Yet nothing is the way Katniss wishes it to be. Gale holds her at an icy distance. peeta has turned his back on her completely. And there are whispers of rebellion against . . .more.

Catching Fire was great! but it was a lot slower than the first one! and I didn't get into it as much as I hoped too, but I pushed myself to read through some of the boring parts, and when I finished I actually liked it. A lot.
President Snow scares me, I don't like him. And the white roses . . . and the blood stench. CREEPY!
Any-who! this was a good read! it did seem to be more interesting at some parts than the first one, with the different environment and all. It was all very intriguing. And Finnick was my favorite. "Want a sugar cube?"

MockinJay-

Rating Score- 9.5/10

Katniss Everdeen, girl on fire, has survived, even though her home has been destroyed. Gale has escaped. Katniss's family is safe. Peeta has been captured by the capitol. District . . . more.

A lot happened in this novel! It was really great! and you got to meet and know so many more people, and things happened, trying not to spoil if you haven't read this. And anyways, Katniss wasn't at her finest during this one, but she was still awesome.
I loved it.
And am extremely excited to watch Mockingjay part 2 soon, :D so yayy!

that was my full series review, I hope you enjoyed it! Bye for now, Luv
