Review-
At first I got this because A few of my friends were saying how good it was, and I wanted to read it because everyone was saying it was so good.
And they were all correct. Six Of Crows was amazing. I loved everything about this book.
Inej and Kaz were my favorite characters . . . obviously.
Characters: I personally love books with different POVs. It just seems unique to me, because then you get the story from more than one characters POV. But in this story, the characters were all different. Troubled, a killer, someone who wants revenge, someone who is awesome *cough* Kaz *cough*.
All the characters were different in their own ways. And I loved each character for their story. Leigh Bardugo did a stunning job on writing these characters!
I want to bring in some of the things in the characters past . . . but I try to stay spoiler free.
Inej though. Out of ALL the characters in this book Inej ranks the top of the list. Kaz may have been--Kaz <3 but Inej is so graceful but a killer . . . and it's awesome.
Graceful Wraith
Nina and Matthias are a cute couple, even though he may want to kill her. They are still cute.
Nina; heartrender A.K.A grisha and Mathias; Fjerdan drüskelle. I just wanted to add here that the tension between them was very entertaining and while I am fully supporting Inej and Kaz, I wanted Nina and Mathias to be good with each other. And even though Nina did lock him up, They are so adorable together that they should NEVER be mad at each other. Nina had no choice really.
Too adorable.
Jesper and Wyland, as soon as they were on the same page of the book, I was shipping them. If you DON'T ship them then you have major issues! They are too freakin' cute! there were to many moments when I just wanted to push them together and be like "You like Jesper, you like Wyland, INSTANT COUPLE!".
SO ADORABLE!!
Setting: the setting, was cool, creepy but cool. Ketterdam is not a place you want to find yourself . . . unless your Kaz Brekker.
I don't know it just seemed like the right thing to say at the right time.
But! I did love Fjerda. The ice palace <3 it may be full of horrible people but you know what, it was gorgeous!
Plot: If I have not said this before, I suck at the plot section here. But I have to put something right?! so here goes nothing.
The plot was amazing, I loved everything that happened. Okay, not everything some things in the end made me sad and upset. But the plot itself and the events that happened throughout were amazing, and if I didn't have such a long TBR I would reread this book multiple times! <3
Overall, this wonderful book is a ten and I can't wait to read more of Leigh Bardugo. I am in love with Six Of Crows and hope the second is as good--or better than the first.
I just want to add this before it's too late, What I loved most about this book was you never knew what Kaz had planned until last minute. Even when you were in his POV you never knew what he had planned. A lot of unexpected things happen and some things that maybe some of you can/have guessed. I didn't. I didn't get anything right when I guessed -_-
If your reading this, then you have to read Six Of Crows. If you don't you'll be missing out on a really really good story <3
